About the Foundation

Built by donors, the Glencoe Area Community Foundation helps people, organizations, and businesses that want to improve our community now and in the future. The mission of the Glencoe Area Community Foundation is to create a legacy with projects that matter, supported by people who care.  Serving the Glencoe area, the Foundation is a vehicle for donors, helping them achieve their charitable goals. It also works with donors to structure planned gifts, which benefit the benefit both the community and the donor. The Foundation raises and manages donations of all amounts from individuals, families, businesses, and other foundations. The income from these gifts is awarded to projects that serve the best interests of the area. The Foundation provides an opportunity to leave a permanent legacy to enhance the quality of life in our area.

The Glencoe Area Community Foundation is a Minnesota tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit philanthropic organization.

It consists primarily of permanent and special funds from many donors which are given for the long-term, diverse benefit of the Glencoe area and is governed by a board of directors.
